ACCOMODATION

Arrangements
All registrants are asked to make their own arrangements with the hotels (off-campus) or with the University of Ottawa Residence Complex. Rates quoted are subject to 15% tax (GST and PST).

* Accommodation alert: as of May 3, 2007, local hotels will begin to release our reserved room blocks and special conference rates. After that date, reservations will be made subject to availability and at a rate determined by each hotel.

Ottawa, the national capital, offers a wide range of accommodation choices to suit visitors' needs and budgets. The hotels are listed below are close by and offer a special conference rate to IINFD participants; click the logos for details.

On-campus accommodation
Delegates who wish to stay on the University of Ottawa campus will be housed in student residences. They are a short walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to the facilities where the conference will be held. For more information on residences you are welcome to visit the Housing Services Web site.  Please note that some of these rooms do not come equiped with an air conditioning unit. Ottawa in late June can be very hot and humid.

There are food outlets on campus at the University Centre which are open on a cash basis throughout the summer.

Rates for accommodation are $44.80(CND) for a single room and $67.20(CND) for a double room (two single beds). These rates include taxes. All check-ins and check-outs take place at the Residential Complex, 90 University . The front desk is open 24 hours a day during the summer months and can be reached at (613) 564-5400.
