Eric Kristensen is currently serving as the Senior Instructional Consultant at the University of Ottawa's Centre for University Teaching where he assists individual faculty members, departments and faculties to improve teaching and learning, redesign courses and curricula, and provide professional development for faculty and teaching assistants.

In addition to his current post, he has worked in faculty and organizational development since 1979 at Harvard University and Berklee College of Music. He served on POD's Core Committee for three years and subsequently served as President. Eric holds the M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School and an M.A. in Musicology from Harvard University. His special interests include organizational change through promoting a culture of teaching and learning in higher education, the vocation and spiritual roots of teaching, and building community among faculty and students.
