Guest Facilitator ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy Pychyl Associate Professor, Psychology Carleton University Ottawa, Ontario, Canada tpychyl@ccs.carleton.ca A 3M Teaching Fellow, Timothy Pychyl initiated the FacDev.ca project in the fall of 2001 as part of his Teaching Achievement Award from Carleton University. During his sabbatical (2001-02), he organized the original members of the facdev group who then worked together to create the facdev.ca project with the support of an Industry Canada CANARIE grant. Following the CANARIE grant, Tim became the founding Executive Director of the Institute for the Advancement of Teaching in Higher Education (2004). He continues his involvement in the Institute as an active member of the Board of Directors representing Carleton University.
